These are a few of my favorite things!

PORCELAIN TEA CUPS | SOLID CUTLERY | CERAMIC TABLEWARE
Waking up and making chai using a beautiful tea pot and a stone mortar before pouring it into the most beautiful tea cup is one of the things I look forward to every day. Similarly being able to eat with beautiful tableware in peace is essential considering you have to eat every day!
Get a pretty dish rack because my dishes live there all the time.

BOOKSHELVES | SUPPLIES
BOOKS — Being able to pull a book out when bored is amazing! I don’t even have a crowded bookshelf! 10-15 books at max but that’s more than enough. I say having 5 books to rotate through is a good deal!
HANDOUTS — Having a guide or cheat sheets printed out for everything you learn feels so good. There’s just something about physical books. The more I read, I realize there’s books which you read over and over. Having a physical copy for such ones is so helpful.
JOURNALS — Having a real book where you can write, doodle and stick stuff is one thing no one does but shud.
ART SUPPLIES — Same as above. Physical media are so much better.

PLUSHIES | DECORATIONS | ORNAMENTS | PHOTO FRAMES
These things truly give the personality to a place.

MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS
My colleague once told me that musical instruments are the best toys ever. Unlike other games which come to an end, there’s no end to what you can do with an instrument. I agree. I have a midi keyboard and a cajon at home now. I like them both. I wonder if I’ll get a guitar in the future. I definitely want an electric mini grand.

PROJECTOR | SOUND SYSTEM
The idea of being able to watch something from bed is exciting. I’m just being lazy with buying one. On a brighter note, my laptop screen and sound is amazing. And I have a cute speaker which is also very loud and clear.

BED LAMP
The idea of reading in the dark before turning off the light for the night is literally and metaphorically amazing. My bed lamp is too far from the bed for now. I should prolly keep it closer… Or get another one… Actually let me try moving the bedside drawer… I just love working from the bed. I won’t comment on my sleep quality…

BEAN BAG | FLOOR CUSHIONS | BED TABLE
I would love to have something to lounge on. I do think bean bags are a cool idea. I don’t have the space for one. I also think they’re super impractical unless you have the space at home to get one. Then, by all means, do get one. My reclining chair and a soft bed where I can lean on the wall do it for now. I like lounging.
Getting a floor table is soo nice when I want to sit down crisscross apple sauce and work~ Combine that with a floor cushion and a wall to lean on and I’ve got at least 2 hours of solid work + tingling legs after.

CAPSULE WARDROBE | JEWELRY | ACCESSORIES
I have too many clothes I don’t wear but having a set for work, outings, parties, workouts and lounging makes it so much easier to decide what needs to be bought. A few of everything is all you need in life. You don’t have to be boring, make them tasteful!
I like jewelry and have so many hair accessories as well as earrings and necklaces. I like them a lot. Bracelets aren’t very practical for me but I do like them too. I wish I had more space to organize them. If I could I would get a real pretty jewelry organizer.
Accessories like caps and gloves add an oompf without much effort. Same with pretty shoes and belts and scarfs~
I see myself collecting stuff in 2 major categories — reds, blues, pinks, white and black from the first one. Greens, yellow, orange, purple and browns form the second. I keep solid colors like white, black and brown for professional dresses. I like mixing up a bunch of colors in the two categories. I think of the first category as an artificial/bright category and the second as more earthy/muted/natural. I don’t really choose what theme I want to go for. I just pick the first thing and match the rest to it…

These are a few of my favorite places!

HIKES | SHORES | PARKS — It’s amazing what a walk in a park can do for your soul. I outwalk the problems in my life~

Being with a civilization of trees in the mountains should give you a better perspective on life. I haven’t gotten a chance to do that in recent times. I dream of that.

LIBRARIES | CAFES | PUBLIC SPACES — I can get so much work done when I’m anywhere outside my place. I love a crowd while I’m doing my own thing.

MUSEUMS — Going to a musuem gives you a fresh perspective on history and how things came to be. There’s something different about going to a museum to learn about a topic than just googling it. There’s something magical about a real piece of history. It probably carries history in it’s soul.

FRIEND’S COUCHES — The best place to sleep is on a couch outside your home. The close second contender is the floor. I hope they are clean

GROUP CLASSES — This is something I never thought I’d like. My preconception was that the teachers don’t really focus on the people and you can’t progress fast with these classes. Depends on the class I guess. I’m enjoying my workout classes and my choir class for now. I also enjoy my writing and drawing meet ups. Language meetups are a big commitment for now. I feel like relearning french again…

These are a few of my favorite mood lifters!

MUSIC — Good music makes every negative emotion vanish. Singing or playing music would be a great add-on someday. I dream of it on an hourly basis

ANIME | MANGA — Nothing to say here. It the GOAT.

HORROR AND THRILLERS — Give me a good scary and I’m a happy person

OBSCURE STUFF NO ONE WATCHES READS OR LISTENS TO — I don’t even know how this happens…

PEOPLE
Eating with others who eat at your pace is an amazing experience!
Gossip and people with great conversation skills = spilling tea while drinking tea~
Travel with people who take the same time as you, don’t hurry.
Having people who you can share and discuss your interests with is heavenly!
Listening to other’s stories!
